It is with great joy and humility that my friend, Sue Weber and I share this advent devotional with you! Special thanks to our mutual friend, Karen Kownurko, who wishes to remain anonymous, for drawing the illustrations for our devotional!
The pandemic of 2020 has changed many things in our lives, and we expect it will alter the way we celebrate Christmas in 2020. As we were writing this devotional, our nation moved from red to yellow, and in some cases, to green phases of reopening! However, anticipating that we will still be socially distant during the holiday season, we wanted to encourage you to remain spiritually close. Socially Distant, Spiritually Close!
Advent 2020 begins on November 29, and ends December 24. Will you join us as we anticipate and celebrate the coming of Christ this Christmas, 2020? The GIVING, the GATHERING, the GAIETY of celebrating may require some social distancing, but GOD with US has made it possible to remain spiritually close to each other and to our heavenly Father! Socially Distant, Spiritually Close!
